My name is Crystal Blanchard, I am a 42 yr old married mother of three lovely ladies (15, 12, and 8). I love to have adventures with my family, be outside, listen to music, and try new things. I strongly knew there was a place for me somewhere in the birthing community. I am so interested in everyone’s birth story, plan for labor, etc... The more I looked into what a Doula was, I knew I had found my calling!

Through life I have learned to be a good listener and try to give advice considering the best interest of others. When people make good decisions on their own with help from knowledge I gave them, it makes me feel good knowing that I helped them get to that decision and they are happy and comfortable with it. Knowledge is so important when going into something you don’t know much about. Having an open mind to the unknown can be difficult, but the more you know the more confidence you have.

I am very excited to be your doula and to help you have the best birth experience possible. I want to be the trained woman to help guide you through the birth of your baby. Birth is a natural process, but there are many interventions that could happen along the way. I will help teach you that being open to the entire birth process (however it unfolds) is the way you are supposed to have your baby!

I have a Birth Doula Certification through Birth Arts International and have been a Doula for 52 Moms (Dads, families, and babies).
